Johnston Health is proud to offer cancer treatment at four different centers located in Smithfield and Clayton. Our facilities provide convenient, easy access to care for all of Johnston County and beyond.
To obtain the most benefit from your relationship with us, we encourage you to understand your health and take an active part in your care. Ask questions if you are concerned or unclear about anything. Before your visit, write down your questions or concerns so you won’t forget anything. If you are having a problem with a prescribed medicine or treatment, please call us immediately rather than stopping treatment. Bring all medications, including over-the-counter medicines, with you to every appointment. Bring a family member with you to participate in discussions, if you wish.
There are several things you can do that will help your first visit run smoothly:
- Plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes early so we can complete your records
- Bring your medical insurance card, Social Security card, medications, and any important medical records
- If your managed care plan requires an authorization of your visit, please bring that with you
- Inform us about any health problems, allergies and medications you are taking
If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible to notify us. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can make your time available to another patient and reschedule you for a more convenient time.
