What should I do to prevent unexpected charges?

The independent physician groups listed below are currently providing contracted services to UNC Health Johnston. After your visit, you may receive a bill from one of these providers. If the bill is more than your deductible or co-pay, it could mean that your health plan has processed your claim as out of network. Please contact a representative of your health plan to ask if this is the case. If so, then ask that your claim be reprocessed as in network. Also, it’s always a good idea to ask your health plan representative if your claim has been processed correctly.
