Your Therapeutic Wound Care Team

Our staff is a unique team of trained physicians, nurses and therapists whose combined knowledge creates a multidisciplinary approach to wound management. We are dedicated to caring for people with wounds that have resisted traditional means of healing.

A care plan customized to meet the patient’s needs

Wounds, due to their complex nature, require an individualized course of treatment to promote healing. Your treatment plan will be overseen by one of our staff physicians and a nurse case manager will be your primary contact at the center.

Your care plan may include the following:

  • Wound dressings chosen specifically for your needs.
  • Wound debridement, a minor surgical procedure that enhances the growth of healthy tissues.
  • A Doppler evaluation of pulses, a technique that measures the blood flow available to bring nutrients and medications to the wound.
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, an intermittent treatment of 100 percent oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure. This therapy increases oxygen flow to damaged tissues, thus promoting the formation of new blood vessels.
