3-D Mammography Campaign
We reached our goal!
Together, we raised more than $490,000 and as a result, two (2) 3-D Mammography Systems have been installed at our locations in Smithfield and Clayton which are currently being used by our doctors and patients. We are now able to provide the most advanced breast imaging technology available.
Your donations are already making an impact. In just a few months, our doctors have already detected early stages of breast cancer, giving our patients more options for treatments and increasing their odds of surviving breast cancer.
See where your money went!
On October 25, during our Ladies Night Out event at Johnston Health Clayton from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., you will get the chance to visit our new 3-D Mammography room and view the state of the art equipment that we raised money for. Stay connected for more information.
Sue Archambeault, President of the Johnston Health Volunteer Council explains how this campaign will make a difference to people suffering from breast cancer in our area.
“The volunteer council felt that it was important that all patients have the newest available technology to help diagnose breast cancer as early as possible. We were thrilled to be able to be a part of this very worthy campaign in the Johnston Health commitment to serving the local community.”
We encourage all women in our community to have their annual screenings done promptly, because screenings save lives.
