Foundation Programs and Funds


The Foundation contributes to a variety of funds and projects, all of which enhance the care that Johnston Health is able to provide to patients and their families. We accept donations to any of these specific funds, and also to the foundation in general.

Angel Fund

The Angel Fund supports cancer patients who are going through financial hardships by providing funds to purchase medications, gas for transportation to treatments, wigs, prosthesis, and more.  Learn More

Hospice Fund

The Hospice Fund helps supplement room and board expenses and other costs of patient care so that all patients needing end-of-life care can come to the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, regardless of their ability to pay.  Learn More

Patient Assistance Fund

The Patient Assistance Fund provides support to any patient at Johnston Health who is going through financial hardships. Funds are used to help pay for medications, treatments, transportation, and other necessities.  Learn More

Healthy Kids Fund

The Healthy Kids fund provides scholarships for at-risk and underserved youth in Johnston County to participate in the Healthy Kids Program at HealthQuest. This program provides nutritional counseling and fitness instruction. Learn More

Johnston Health Foundation Endowment

The Johnston Health Foundation Endowment is invested and administered by the North Carolina Community Foundation and was established to provide a permanent and sustaining source of annual support for the Foundation.  Learn More
