Breastfeeding Class

Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes knowledge and practice to be successful. Pregnant women who learn how to breastfeed are more likely to be successful than those who do not. Our breastfeeding classes offer pregnant women and their partners the chance to prepare and ask questions before the baby’s arrival.

In this class, parents will learn:

  • Feeding cues and how much a baby needs
  • Skin to skin and how to wake your baby
  • Positioning and latching
  • Going back to work
  • How breastfeeding works and pump education
  • Establishing a good milk supply
  • And more!
