Steve Sanders’ WellnessWorks Story

When Glenda Underwood of Lowe’s at Cleveland Crossings held her first health fair for Lowe’s employees, David Moore of Wellness Works was there to assist her.

During the fair, David diagnosed employee Steve Sanders as having dangerously high blood pressure. David talked with Steve, who wasn’t under the care of a doctor. He personally scheduled an appointment with a physician at Johnston Medical Associates, but Steve did not go to his appointment.

“I felt fine,” said Steve. “I didn’t really see why I needed to go. But David followed up with me, stressed the importance and set up another appointment. The doctor immediately put me on medication and explained that I was very close to a stroke. I am so grateful that David was here and cared enough to come back.
