You asked, and we listened. At our recent town meetings, I shared an update on exciting news, projects, and services at Johnston Health. We are proud to introduce the following doctors who have recently joined our medical staff: Dr. Jeri Dickinson, General Surgery, Dr. Jennifer Mock, Obstetrician/ Gynecologist, Dr. Kathleen Havlin, Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Steven Hults, Obstetrician/ Gynecologist. Our newer hospital-based physician groups include Hospital Physician Partners, Wake Emergency Physician Partners, and Carolina Radiology Consultants.
We are also offering expanded services and technology in the following areas:
● Oncology services in Clayton
● Robotic surgery with daVinci robotics
● Diabetes services with the formation of Johnston Health Diabetes Center
● Emergency Department expansion at JMC-Smithfield
● Proposed inpatient rehab beds at JMC- Smithfield
As always, we are committed to quality and patient safety. The average times for an emergency room visit at both the Smithfield and Clayton locations are below the national average benchmark.
Our next town meetings will be June 28th at the Sleep Inn in Garner and June 30th at the Town Council Chambers in Kenly. I look forward to seeing you there.
