May 6 - 12 is National Nurses Week, where nurses all over the country are recognized for their outstanding work. The News & Observer has partnered with North Carolina Nurses Association to recognize 10 outstanding nurses in the Triangle. Make sure to nominate your favorite nurse by clicking here.
The Education Department is pleased to announce that our next Bloodmobile for Johnston Health will be held on Thursday, January 22. Due to many requests, this bloodmobile will be held in the parking lot of the main hospital. The bus will plan to park in the back of the hospital parking lot and check in will be held at the main lobby. The bloodmobile will be held 12:00 noon until 4:30 p.m. Our goal is to reach more employees as well as visitors that would like to donate. Thanks for your support!
Most (not all) employees will be assigned to mandatory ICD-10 training in HealthStream. Courses will be made available on Monday, March 17 and will be due for completion by July 31. Please watch for an email regarding your assignment and thank you in advance for your efforts and work to complete the training. Click here to learn more about ICD-10.
